you should know the purpose & audience before you choose a topic so that what you’re writing can relate to them. It is important to know what main ideas you wish to cover before you begin because it will make much more organized. If you do not do these things before writing an article, it won’t be a fitting article for the audience and won’t be organized and structured correctly.
