military leadership is never willing to relinquish power, and in most cases this has resulted to bloodshed as they are forced out of power. several cases of military leaders such as Yoweri museven,Paul kagame, and maummar gaddafi, and syrian president Assad, shows that it is not easy even in the 21st century. However, comparing this to the late 1900's during the cold war era, there has been oppurtunities here and there for reforms and change.
