A scatterplot has a positive, linear correlation means that the relationship x and y is positive and increasing with equal changes in both x and y.
For example there will be positive linear correlation between height and weight. If height will increase then weight will also increase. So, height and weight is positively correlated to each other.
And if the changes of height as well as change of weight will be equal then it will be linear also. Like if height of a person is increasing as 120 cm, 122 cm, 124 cm and so on and their corresponding weight is 50 kg, 51 kg, 52 kg etc then it's showing a positive, linear correlation.
