The student who wrote the paragraph below used text evidence from
two different sources to respond to the prompt: Add an event to
Roadrunner's Dance telling more about the meeting the elders hold
with Desert Woman.

"You could move Snake off the road," suggested one elder. Desert
Woman shook her head. She couldn't force Snake from his home.
"Perhaps all of us could speak with Snake," said another elder.
But the other elders looked nervous about that idea since they were
afraid of Snake.
T "I wonder if we should stop using the road," offered a third elder,
but she looked uncertain about this suggestion. The people needed
the road to get to their fields. Without the road, the journey would
take much longer.
"These are all good ideas," said Desert Woman. "We will make a
plan to solve the problem together." She looked confidently at each
elder, and they immediately felt better.
